Berks County Field of Heroes Medallion Design Contest

The West Reading-Wyomissing Rotary is searching for artists to unleash their creativity and design the medallion for the 2025 Berks County Field of Heroes. This prestigious medallion will honor the extraordinary veterans, first responders, healthcare professionals, teachers, community leaders, and others who have made a significant impact on our lives.

The winning design will be proudly displayed on over 200 flags along the pathways of the Stonehouse in Wyomissing Park from Monday, June 30, to Monday, July 7. This beautiful and moving display is a gift to our community, brought to life through the generosity of donations and sponsorships to the West Reading-Wyomissing Rotary Foundation 501 © (3), and the unwavering commitment of many dedicated volunteers. Proceeds from this event will benefit community service projects completed by the West Reading-Wyomissing Rotary Club.

In addition, join the West Reading-Wyomissing Rotary for the Celebration of Heroes Ceremony at 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 3.

As a token of our gratitude, the winner of the Berks County Field of Heroes Medallion Design Contest will receive a $100 prize and a dedicated flag to honor the hero in their life. Medallions will be available for pickup after Tuesday, July 8.

Design guidelines

• Theme: Reflect the Field of Heroes, generating positivity and embracing the core values of our country.
• Format: Designs should be submitted as a full-color digital image in a high-resolution jpeg, pdf, or png file.
• Size: The finished design will be printed on a 5″ diameter circle. Please ensure your artwork is suitable for this size to maintain the integrity of the design.
• Submission: Artwork should be mailed to the address provided below. Take special care not to fold your design; place it between cardboard for protection.

1. Entry form: All entries are to be submitted on the Medallion Design Contest Entry Form.
2. Mail entry form to:

3. Submission deadline: 5 p.m. on Monday, March 17

Voting and selection

• Display: Valid design entries will be displayed on the West Reading-Wyomissing Rotary Club’s Facebook Page and website.
• Judging: The WRWR Club Berks County Field of Heroes Committee will select the winning design for the 2025 medallion.
• Winner announcement: The winning design will be announced on Wednesday, April 30, and shared on WRWR social media platforms.
