The count is complete, and the results will soon be official.
Berks County officials announced Thursday evening that workers have completed processing and counting the mailed and provisional ballots cast in the 2022 general election.
The county has posted the complete tally of the results, which includes 126,241 votes cast at the polls on Election Day as well as 28,829 votes from mailed ballots and 1,238 votes from provisional ballots, on the county elections services website.
This triggers a five-day review period during which voters can petition a state court to order a recount on the grounds of an error in the count.
The results remain unofficial until the Berks County Election Board votes to certify them following the review period.
