Berks high school honor roll: March 7, 2022

Boys basketball

Berks Catholic junior Josiah Jordan had 21 points, seven assists, four rebounds and three steals in a 58-46 win over Littlestown in the District 3 Class 4A semifinals. He had 17 points, six rebounds and five assists in a 60-37 victory over Middletown for the district championship.

Girls basketball

Berks Catholic junior Caraline Herb scored 16 points in the Saints’ 49-46 overtime victory against Bermudian Springs in the District 3 Class 4A semifinals.

Boys bowling

Muhlenberg senior Aidan Dietrich rolled a 693 series, including a 298 game, at the Eastern PA Regional Team Championships at Leisure Lanes in Lancaster. Dietrich was named to the regional all-star team.

Girls bowling

Gov. Mifflin freshman Lily Watts rolled a 643 series at the Eastern PA Regional Team Championships at Dutch Lanes in Ephrata. Watts was named to the regional all-star team.

Boys swimming

Gov. Mifflin senior Ben Gerhard won his third straight 500 free title (4:30.38) and the 200 free (1:40.00) at the District 3 Class 3A championships. He also swam on the third-place 200 free relay and fourth-place 400 free relay for the Mustangs, who finished third in the team standings.

Girls swimming

Schuylkill Valley senior Megan Ehrnfeldt won four medals, three of them gold, to help the Panthers win the team title at the District 3 Class 2A championships. She won the 100 fly in a district-record 55.45 and the 100 free in 51.45. She also swam on the winning 200 free relay with Emily Gao, Annie Gao and Katie Eisenhoefer, which set a district record in 1:36.76, and on the 400 free relay, which finished third.

Wrestling

Berks Catholic senior Brody Kline finished second at 215 pounds at the Class 2A Southeast Regional. Kline defeated Mitchell Miller of Allentown Central Catholic 12-8, pinned Vincent Piermatteo of Archbishop Ryan in 52 seconds, then pinned Dante Mahaffey of Saucon Valley in 3:38 in the semifinals. He lost 6-1 to District 3 champ Brad Morrison of West Perry in the final.
