Berks high school honor roll: Nov. 1, 2021

Boys cross country

Tulpehocken senior Ethan Guss finished third in the District 3 Class 1A race in 17:43.6, helping the Trojans finish second in the team standings and earn a PIAA berth.

Girls cross country

Oley Valley senior Ava Lottig won the District 3 Class 2A gold medal, covering the 3.1-mile course at Big Spring in 19:42.2.

Field hockey

Twin Valley senior Emma Winther had two goals and three assists in a win over Berks Catholic and two assists in a victory over Garden Spot to help the Raiders advance to the District 3 Class 2A semifinals and earn a berth in the PIAA Tournament.

Football

Muhlenberg senior Aaron Shuker returned two interceptions for touchdowns and had a 65-yard TD run to help the Muhls defeat Reading High 38-6 and snap a 26-game losing streak.

Boys soccer

Tulpehocken junior Eliecer Aguirre had three goals and an assist in a 4-0 win over Fairfield and helped the Trojans defeat High Point 1-0 to advance to the District 3 Class 1A championship game and qualify for the PIAA Tournament.

Girls soccer

Brandywine Heights sophomore Olivia Moyer scored two goals in a 3-2 win over Delone Catholic and the only goal in a 1-0 overtime win over Fairfield to advance the Bullets to the District 3 Class 1A championship game and earn a berth in the PIAA Tournament.

Girls tennis

Conrad Weiser junior Victoria Waltz won matches at No. 3 singles against Selinsgrove and Beaver Area to help the Scouts advance to the semifinals of the Class 2A PIAA Girls Tennis Team Championships for the first time.

Girls volleyball

Wilson sophomore Cameryn Niedrowski had 50 assists, five digs, two blocks and two aces as the Bulldogs beat Berks Catholic 3-1 in the BCIAA final, then had 30 assists in a 3-0 win over Warwick in a District 3 Class 4A playoff opener.

Girls water polo

Wilson senior Kayla Dietrich had nine goals and four assists in three games to help the Bulldogs finish as the runner-up in Pennsylvania State Water Polo League Championships.
