Berks high school sports honor roll: February 12, 2024

Boys basketball
Reading High senior Yadiel Cruz scored a game-high 26 points to help lead the Red Knights to an 83-46 win over Muhlenberg and the Berks I title.

Girls basketball
Oley Valley senior Morgan Snyder scored a season-high 25 points, including the 1,000th point of her career, to lead the Lynx to a 60-12 win over Kutztown. She also had 20 points in a 59-54 loss to Gov. Mifflin in a Berks quarterfinal.

Boys bowling
Exeter junior Ben Seeberger rolled a 660 series in the Eagles’ 2-1 win over Hamburg.

Girls bowling
Exeter sophomore Haley Schwenk rolled a 592 series in the Eagles’ 3-0 win over Hamburg.

Boys swimming
Gov. Mifflin junior Alex Wodehouse won the Berks boys diving championship with an 11-dive score of 602.05.

Girls swimming
Wilson freshman Ellie Kulp won the Berks girls diving championship with an 11-dive score of 404.90.

Boys wrestling
Wilson junior Blaise Eidle pinned his opponent in 1:29 at 172 pounds in the Bulldogs’ 30-29 win over Connellsville in the first round of the PIAA Class 3A tournament.

Girls wrestling
Schuylkill Valley senior Kayley Weidner pinned all three of her opponents to help the Panthers earn wins over Shippensburg, Northern Lebanon and Carlisle in a quad meet.
