Exeter sophomore Chase Choudhry finished fifth overall in 16:13.33 at the Ben Bloser Bulldog Invitational at Big Spring High School.
Girls cross country
Exeter senior Gabby Keith finished sixth overall in 19:06.38 at the Ben Bloser Bulldog Invitational at Big Spring High School.
Field hockey
Wyomissing sophomore Ella Anders had four goals and five assists in four games, all victories. She had one assist in a 2-1 win over Hamburg, a goal and an assist in a 4-0 win over Kutztown, three goals and one assist in a 6-1 win over Brandywine Heights, and two assists in a 5-0 win over Tulpehocken.
Football
Schuylkill Valley junior Logan Nawrocki completed 11-of-14 passes for 224 yards and five touchdowns in the Panthers’ 49-21 victory over Kutztown.
Golf
Wilson senior Kayla Maletto shot a 5-under 44 through 12 holes to help the Bulldogs defeat Brandywine Heights 201-256.
Boys soccer
Brandywine Heights junior Zach Fratrik scored six goals in the Bullets’ 7-0 win over Antietam. He also had one goal in a loss to Oley Valley.
Girls soccer
Schuylkill Valley freshman Presleigh Finkbiner had five goals and four assists across four Panthers’ victories, including two goals and one assist in a 4-0 win over Berks Catholic.
Girls tennis
Hamburg junior Mia Gassert went 3-0 in No. 1 singles and 3-0 in No. 1 doubles to help the Hawks earn wins over Kutztown, Tulpehocken and Daniel Boone. Gassert teamed with Julia Bucheit in No. 1 doubles in each match.
Girls volleyball
Fleetwood sophomore Kylie Hallman had five kills, eight digs, four aces and 34 assists in a 3-2 win over Schuylkill Valley, and three kills, two aces and 16 assists in a 3-0 victory over Wyomissing.
Boys water polo
Reading High junior Trey Stricker scored 12 goals and had one assist to lead the Red Knights to a 15-13 win over Penn Charter at the Perkiomen Valley Tournament. Stricker also scored four goals in Reading High’s 8-4 win over Perkiomen Valley.
Girls water polo
Wilson senior Mikayla Arthur scored five goals and had one assist in the Bulldogs’ 13-2 win over North Allegheny at the Erie Tournament. Arthur also had four goals in Wilson’s 10-1 win over Cathedral Prep, one goal and one assist in the 15-5 win over McDowell, one goal in the 7-2 win over Fairfield and three goals in the 11-4 win over Muhlenberg.
