A Maxatawny Townshp man was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash in the township over the weekend, state police said Monday.
Bryant C. Price, 54, was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital by Topton Ambulance after the crash about 4:40 p.m. Saturday at Topton and Linden roads, troopers said.
Information on his medical condition was unavailable.
Troopers from the Reading station provided this account:
Price was northbound on Topton Road and lost control on a slight left curve where Linden merges with Topton. The motorcycle dropped to its side after riding off the left edge of the road. Price and the motorcycle slid to the opposite side of the road and struck a utility pole.
The crash remains under investigation.
