Baseball
Chase Kegerise hit a home run, knocked in 2 runs and had 2 hits as Oley Valley defeated Kutztown 3-1 in high school baseball on Thursday.
Kegerise also got the save, pitching the seventh inning, striking out one batter and not allowing a Cougar to reach base.
Winning pitcher Timmy Fries went six innings, striking out 7 and allowed just the one Kutztown run.
Kutztown pitcher Ashton Dunn went the distance, allowing 7 hits, 2 earned runs and striking out 4.
Colin Diehl and Chris Bergstrom each had 2 hits for Kutztown.

Girls lacrosse
Emmylou Martin and Ryleigh Myer each scored 3 goals as Conrad Weiser defeated Conestoga Christian 11-5 in girls lacrosse on Thursday.
Kylie Hosinec and Izzy Fernandez each added two goals for the Scouts.

Boys lacrosse
Carter Brensinger had 4 goals and 4 assists and Cole Kaufmann also had 4 goals as Wilson defeated Conrad Weiser 18-4 in boys lacrosse on Thursday.
Beckett Redner had 2 goals and an assist for the Bulldogs.
For the Scouts, Kole Kupper and Beckam Sallade each had a goal and an assist. Goalie Mason Gechter made 20 saves.
Twin Valley 17, Schuylkill Valley 4
Colin Gallagher and Drew Engle each scored 3 goals as Twin Valley defeated Schuylkill Valley 17-4 on Thursday.
For the Panthers, Caden Ryan scored 3 goals.
Softball
Kyla Lytle and Taylor Watts each hit home runs and drove in 4 runs apiece as Wyomissing defeated Oley Valley 13-2 in five innings in softball on Thursday.
Kylie Schoudler had 3 hits for the Spartans.
Twin Valley 2, Northern Lebanon 1
Winning pitcher Erin Cromwell knocked in a run as Twin Valley defeated Northern Lebanon 2-1 in a non-league softball game on Thursday.
Cromwell struck out 4, allowed the one earned run and give up 6 hits in seven innings of work.
Ella Herbst had Twin Valley’s other RBI.
