Berks track and field championships: 4 win two events on Day 2; Mifflin girls, Twin Valley boys win team titles [updated]

Four athletes each won two individual events on Saturday in the Berks Firing Track and Field Championships at Gov. Mifflin High School.

In the boys competition, Gov. Mifflin’s Tristan Shayo won the 110- and 300-meter hurdles, and Twin Valley’s Frankie DiSilvestro won the 1,600 and 800 meter runs.

In the girls competition, Wyomissing’s Alexis Hardy won the 100 and 200, and Wilson’s Violet Houck won both hurdles.’

Gov. Mifflin won the girls team title with 136 points, with Wilson second (121½) and Twin Valley third (106½).

The Twin Valley boys won the team title with 89 points, edging Wilson which finished second with 86 and Gov. Mifflin was third with 73.
