Building a Better Boyertown and Zimmer’s Pets will host the Dog Days of Summer during the Boyertown Farmers Market from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 17.
“This event is all about celebrating the joy that pets bring to our lives while supporting our amazing community of local vendors,” Ellen Martignetti, Main Street Manager for Building a Better Boyertown, said in a press release. “We’re especially excited to partner with Zimmer’s Pets for the third year in a row.”
Building a Better Boyertown is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting community engagement, economic development, and historical preservation in the Boyertown area. Through events, beautification efforts, and community partnerships, BaBB works to make Boyertown a vibrant and welcoming place to live, work and visit.
Zimmer’s Pets has been serving the Boyertown community with quality pet products, expert advice, and compassionate service for more than 30 years. From pet supplies to community outreach, Zimmer’s is proud to support pet lovers of all kinds.
Held in the parking lot of the Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles at 129 S. Reading Ave., the free, pet-friendly event invites dog lovers to enjoy an evening of fun, food, live music and activities.
Steve Walker will provide live music from 5 to 7 p.m.

The pet vendor market and giveaways feature pet treats, accessories, grooming products, and more.
Enter the Basket Raffle to win a chance for one year’s worth of dog food and more.
A Doggie Costume Contest will be held at 6:30 p.m., with prizes going to the top three favorites.

Take a photo with Bluey from Birthday Buddies during the Meet & Greet Bluey from 6 to 7 p.m.
Farmers Market vendors include locally grown produce, fresh baked goods, artisan crafts, and more.
The Wow Wagon food truck will also be on site.
