Brock Kovach and Luke Fagley shot a 3-under 67 Sunday in the second round of the Berks County Golf Association Partners Championship at Moselem Springs Golf Club for a two-round total of 8-under 132 and a five-stroke victory.
Kovach and Fagley went into the second day of the event with a two-stroke lead following a 65 in the first round, which was best ball.
The duo tied for the best round of the day Sunday with three other teams in the Chapman Format. Both players teed off, then played his partner’s ball for the second shot. They then picked which ball to play and alternated shots until the ball was holed out.
Colton Sterner and Nicholas Vecellio, and Kody Long and Luke Smith tied for second after each team shot 67 Sunday.
Blake Reifsnyder and Tom Wenrich also shot 67 to finish fourth at 138.
Bryan Ott and Rod James won the first flight at 73-72—145.
Kovach won the 2020 BCGA Partners Championship with Nate Menon.
