The Brandywine Heights Sports Booster Club is holding special events Tuesday to raise money for the Harrison family of Longswamp Township, whose home was destroyed in a Christmas night house fire.
The events will take place during the 6 p.m. Brandywine Heights boys basketball game vs. Kutztown. Organizers noted that Bonnie Harrison was a president of the club and that her children are Brandywine alumni with a strong connection to the high school and its athletics programs.
Activities will include a basket raffle, half-court shot attempt at halftime, bake sale and Bullet Nation T-shirt sale. The club will be collecting monetary donations at the admissions table and concession stand.
The money raised will be used to purchase gift cards for food, replacement Brandywine Heights Spirit wear, and other items the family requires.
Those attending are encouraged to bring copies of pictures of or with the Harrisons for use in a photo book for the family. Those who cannot attend the game may email photos to bhsportsboosterclub@gmail.com.
