The following third-year Alvernia University Doctor of Physical Therapy candidates provided free services to 25 Berks County community volunteers during the American Physical Therapy Association Annual Visit for Older Adults:

Gov. Josh Shapiro has appointed Kutztown University’s Dr. Jonathan Kremser to the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency. Kremser is a professor and chair of KU’s criminal justice department.
The PCCD serves as the justice planning and policymaking agency for the state. By bringing together experts in criminal and juvenile justice, victim services and related professions, it coordinates the examination of problems, proposes solutions and evaluates the impact of those solutions.
Kremser is a graduate of KU with a master’s degree in criminology from the University of Ottawa and master’s and doctorate degrees in criminal justice from Rutgers University.
