Kutztown University inducted the following area students into the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, the nation’s oldest, largest and most selective collegiate honor society that inducts persons from every academic discipline:

Psychology research
Emma C. Stauffer, Leesport, presented research as part of the University of Scranton’s contingent at the Eastern Psychological Association conference in Philadelphia.
Stauffer, a psychology major, presented “Family environment adjective list: factor analysis of a new 6-item scale” with three faculty members.
The following Albright College psychology students presented research at the conference:
Jason Eidle, Boyertown, won the 2024 Psi Chi EPA Regional Research Award for “Predicting breakups from attractiveness and perceived alternatives.”
Chelsey Nievez, Reading, presented “How immigration status and skin tone affect perceived leadership.”
