Central Penn College: Rachel Snyder, Pine Grove, was inducted into the Central Penn College Chapter of the Gamma Beta Phi National Honor Society.

Awards

Indiana University of Pennsylvania: Sonja Rossi-Williams, an applied anthropology graduate student, received the Women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) outstanding research presentation award for her research presentation “Indigenous Occupation Strategies in Eastern Pennsylvania: An Exploration of Changing Subsistence and Technological Practices in Watershed 03A.” Dr. Benjamin Ford, anthropology, is the research project faculty mentor. Rossi-Williams is adaughter of Eugene and Lisa Rossi and a 2012 graduate of Pottsville High School.
