Comfort Pro to provide free heating system for the holidays

Comfort Pro Inc. will be installing a free heating system for a deserving Berks County individual or family before the holidays as part of the 12th annual Comfort Pro Cares event.

Nominations open Monday. A nominee must own their home, have a non-functioning  heating system and reside in any county that Comfort Pro serves: Berks, Chester,  Lancaster, Lebanon, Lehigh, Montgomery or Schuylkill.

You can nominate yourself, a friend, coworker, family member, etc., who meets the criteria.

In the nomination letter, include specific hardships (financial, medical, etc.) that the nominee has experienced.

All applications will be reviewed by a group of community members, and three finalists will be forwarded to the Comfort Pro Cares team.

The Comfort Pro team then visits the homes of all the  finalists, and after the home visits, the team will select one recipient of a free heating system.

“As we enter our 12th year of Comfort Pro Cares, we once again face the difficult decision of  choosing just one winner,” said  Doug Weisman, CEO of Comfort Pro Inc. “However, the outcome is always fulfilling, and we are proud to be a part  of our community. We look forward to helping a neighbor stay warm this winter,”

All submissions must be received by Nov. 23. Comfort Pro will have the system  installed by Christmas.

Nomination letters can be sent to Comfort Pro Inc., 109 Dries Road, Reading, PA  19605, attn: Comfort Pro Cares; emailed to marketing@comfort-pro.com, Subject: Comfort Pro Cares; or like Comfort Pro’s Facebook page and submit through Facebook Messenger.
