Numerous fire stations were called to the 100 block of Fort Henry Road in Upper Tulpehocken Township on Sunday afternoon for a structure fire.
The emergency dispatch about 4:15 p.m. was that a cabin was on fire and there was possible entrapment. The fire was on the north side of Interstate 78 and approaching fire crews reported a column of smoke.
Crews were told that there was a pond nearby for a water supply, according to emergency reports.
A short time later, emergency reports said that all the occupants were out and that the cabin was already half burned.
About 4:40 p.m., the Strausstown Fire Company chief reported that the flames were under control and asked for a state police fire marshal.
Further details were unavailable.
