Reading firefighters removed two occupants from the rear roof of a house during a fire that started around 11 a.m. Tuesday.
The fire at 407 Elm St. was originally reported as having the two people trapped, but both were removed by fire crews, according to emergency dispatches.
There was no immediate word on injuries.
Firefighters controlled the fire in about 20 minutes, and there was no spread to neighboring homes, dispatchers said.
