Crews battled a fire Sunday afternoon at a commercial and manufacturing complex in Myerstown that drew companies from Berks County.

Volunteers responded to 113 E. Main St. in the Lebanon County borough a few miles west of Berks shortly before 3 p.m. for the fire. A second alarm was struck and that’s where the Berks crews came in.

Womelsdorf and Rehrersburg companies were dispatched.

According to Myerstown officials on the scene, a fire broke out in a two-story brick building at the complex.

A person was welding a car inside the building when the fire broke out and other individuals were painting outside of the structure.

No one was injured.

According to fire officials, the property is owned by Dunamis Holding LLC. Damage was contained to the brick building, however a cost estimate for the damage was not immediately available.
