A blaze that erupted Thursday from a hay wagon in Maxatawny Township was quickly contained by fire crews, according to emergency reports.
Initial calls came in about 4:10 p.m. for a hay wagon on fire being pulled by a tractor near 15380 Kutztown Road.
Photos of the incident posted on Facebook show the tractor pulled into a parking lot at the Countryside Eatery, with the hay wagon detached and aflame a few dozen feet from the tractor.
Crews arrived within 10 minutes of the initial call, and the fire was contained by 4:34 p.m., according to reports.
No information was available Thursday evening whether anyone was injured in the blaze, but there were no reports of medical services being called to the scene.
