Daniel Boone wrestling finishes third at Rally in the Valley dual meet tournament

Daniel Boone finished third at the Rally in the Valley dual meet tournament at Conestoga Valley High School Saturday.

Muhlenberg finished fifth in the eight-team event.

The Blazers defeated Camp Hill in the quarterfinals (score not reported), then lost 32-29 to Conestoga Valley 32-29 in the semifinals before beating Waynesboro 46-15 in the third-place match.

Complete individual results for Boone were not available.

The Muhls lost to Strath Haven 39-27 in the quarterfinals, then beat Tamaqua 51-24 in the consolations before defeating Camp Hill 34-27 in the fifth-place match.

Going 3-0 for Muhlenberg were Javien Cruz (107, two pins), Efrain Garcia (114, two pins), Nick Bradbury (139, three pins) and Caleb Hafer (2-0 at 160, 1-0 at 152).

Cougar Duals: Wyomissing went 3-2, Twin Valley 2-3 and Oley Valley 1-3 in the 16-team event at Martin Luther King High School in Philadelphia.

Wyomissing lost to Upper Moreland 40-26, beat Allentown Allen 40-30, lost to Northeast High 40-33, then beat Archbishop Carroll 54-18 and Westtown School 42-24.

Going 5-0 for the Spartans were Vincent Penta, who won three times at 145 pounds (one pin) and twice at 152 (one pin); and Jeremiah Diaz (172, five pins).

Twin Valley lost to Springfield (Montco) 48-24, beat Oley 36-24, lost to Martin Luther King 42-36 and Westtown School 51-24, then beat Archbishop Carroll 42-12.

Going 5-0 for the Raiders were Hunter Goff (127, five pins), Jacob Grzybeck (133, three pins), Chase Schrawder (152, four pins) and Ean Winchester (285, two pins).

In addition to the loss to Twin Valley, Oley lost to Archbishop Carroll 30-24, beat Penn Crest 30-24 and lost to Allentown Allen 48-27.

Going 4-0 for the Lynx were Chase Parisan (107, three pins) and Michael Kummerer (189, two pins).

Hershey Duals: Tulpehocken went 1-2 to finish fourth at the eight-team event.

The Trojans defeated Kennard-Dale 32-24 in the quarterfinals before losing 39-23 to Hershey in the semifinals, then 47-24 to Milton Hershey in the third-place match.

Going 3-0 for Tulpehocken were Abramm Schaffer, winning once at 114 and twice at 107 (both pins); Seth Karpulk (133, two pins); Jonathon McQuillen (139, two pins); and Jack Heckman (215, one pin).

Falcon Invitational: Conrad Weiser finished ninth in the 15-team tournament at Cedar Crest High.

Placing for the Scouts: Justin McGarrigle, third at 121; Mason Mieczkowski, fifth at 107; Dillon Britting, seventh at 145; Jerry Garcia, seventh at 189; Kaleb Brittting, seventh at 285; and Matthew Auchenbach, eighth at 160.
