Eagles full schedule revealed, including Super Bowl rematch

What has been known for the past several days is the Eagles will take on their arch-rivals, the Dallas Cowboys, on a Thursday night (8:20 kickoff) football season opener Sept. 4 at Lincoln Financial Field.

Wednesday night it was revealed the Eagles will take on what has become another rival, the same (more or less) Kansas City Chiefs team that they easily defeated in Super Bowl LIX in February.

The Birds will play at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, Sept. 14 in a game scheduled to begin at 4:25.

Those two season opening games are the highlights of the 20-game schedule released Wednesday night, three preseason games and 17 regular season games.

The Birds will play a pair of home preseason games, on Thursday, Aug. 7 (7:30 p.m.) against the Cincinnati Bengals, and Sat., Aug. 16 against the Cleveland Browns (1 p.m.). They will play their last exhibition on Aug. 22, a 7:30 night game at the New York Jets.

After their first two big regular season games, the Birds will play at home against the Los Angeles Rams on Sept. 21, then in Tampa a week later, both 1 p.m. starts.

They host the Denver Broncos on Oct. 5 at 1 p.m., then play in the Meadowlands against the Giants on a Thursday night Oct. 9, and in Minnesota Oct. 19 at 1 p.m.

The Giants are at Lincoln Financial Field for a 1 p.m. game Oct. 26. The Eagles travel to Green Bay on Monday night, Nov. 10, then a Sunday night football date on Nov. 16.

The Birds play in Dallas on Nov. 23, before hosting the Chicago Bears the day after Thanksgiving at 3 p.m. The Birds then travel to Los Angeles to play the Chargers, host the Raiders on Dec. 14, then travel to Washington Dec. 20 and Buffalo a week later.

They finish the season hosting the Commanders at a date to be determined.
