Exeter, Brandywine Heights draw byes in Berks Boys Volleyball League playoffs

Division champions Exeter and Brandywine Heights will have quarterfinal byes in the Berks Boys Volleyball League playoffs, which begin Tuesday.

In Tuesday’s quarterfinals at 7 p.m., Berks I runner-up Gov. Mifflin (11-3) will face Berks III third-place finisher Wyomissing (10-5) at Shillington and Berks II runner-up Berks Catholic (13-4) will meet Berks I third-place finisher Wilson (9-6) at Wolf Gymnasium.

In Thursday’s semifinals at 7 p.m., Berks I champion Exeter (13-1) will play the Berks Catholic-Wilson winner at Reiffton and Berks II champion Brandywine Heights (11-5) will take on the Mifflin-Wyomissing winner at Mertztown.

The title match will be played Saturday, May 14, at the highest-seeded team remaining at a time to be announced. Exeter is the defending champion.
