Exeter to play Penn Trafford Friday at Bald Eagle Area in PIAA football semifinals

Exeter will continue its quest for a PIAA football championship Friday at 7 p.m. at Bald Eagle Area High School in Wingate.

The District 3 5A champion Eagles (10-3) will face District 7 champion Penn Trafford (11-2) in the state semifinals. Exeter defeated previously undefeated Gov. Mifflin 31-28 Friday night in Shillington.

Penn Trafford defeated Moon 24-21 Saturday night at Pittsburgh’s Heinz Field.

The winner of the Exeter-Penn Trafford game will face the winner of the other semifinal between Strath Haven and Imhotep Charter Friday, Dec. 10, at 7 p.m. at Hersheypark Stadium.
