Exeter’s Johnny Miller placed third at 189 pounds to highlight five medals earned Thursday by Berks County wrestlers in the Conestoga Valley Holiday Tournament.
Miller lost a 3-2 decision to Max Agresti of Salesianum (Del.) in the semifinals before winning his next two bouts to finish third in the 27-team tournament.
Nick Nettleton also had reached the semifinals for Exeter at 160 but fell to sixth when he could not wrestle Thursday and surrendered three medical forfeits.
Michael Borja placed fourth at 126 and Keegan Sneeringer finished eighth at 285 for Exeter, which finished 13th with 77.5 points.
Muhlenberg placed 23rd with 38 points. Caleb Hafer finished fifth at 145 after reaching the semifinals.
Mifflin County won the team title with 241 points.
