Fleetwood Area High School October Students of the Month

Carly Karnish

The daughter of Matthew and Jennifer Karnish of Blandon, Carly has been involved in the following clubs/activities at Fleetwood Area High School or Berks Career Technologically Center:  Student Council, National Honor Society, Class Officer, Women’s Empowerment, Future Business Leaders of America National Technical Honors Society and HOSA. Also, she donates her time to be a sideline photographer for Fleetwood Athletics.

Carley states that one person she admires is her father for supporting and teaching her many different strategies to help her achieve everyday activities and goals. #fathersdaugher

She plans to attend a university to earn a degree in nursing.

Gabbie Williams

The daughter of Dan and Laurie Williams of Blandon, Gabbie has been involved in the following clubs/activities at Fleetwood Area High School:  Class President, Student Council President, Student Council Secretary, Future Business Leaders of America Historian, Member of FGS, National Honor Society, Rho Kappa Historical Honor Society and Softball Team. Also, she volunteers with kids at Victory Valley Camp, helps run events with kids at church, helps with the craft show and serving meals at Hope Rescue Mission.

Gabbie really admires her mother, Laurie, saying that her mom is extremely strong and selfless, and she manages challenges with extreme perseverance while always being very supportive to her family.

Her future plans include attending Liberty University to study elementary education.
