Another month, another record haul for Pennsylvania’s gaming companies.
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board reported that total gaming and fantasy contest revenue was $432.4 million in November, a year-over-year increase of more than 52%. The previous mark was $425.9 million in October.
Total tax revenue for the month was $171.8 million.
Wyomissing-based Penn National Gaming Inc., which celebrated the opening of Hollywood Casino Morgantown on Wednesday, had the most profitable facility in the state for November. The Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course in Dauphin County saw total revenue of $60 million, a 78% increase from November 2020. It was about $3 million more than Valley Forge Casino Resort in Montgomery County, which had a preliminary figure of $57 million.
The majority of money for the Hollywood Casino came from internet gaming, which accounted for $37.3 million, a increase of 138% from the same period of 2020. Slot machines brought in $12.8 million and table games were at $2.7 million. Sports wagering accounted for $7.2 million.
Hollywood Casino at the Meadows in Washington County had revenue of $26.7 million, a 41% increase over the year. The bulk of that was from slots and sports wagering, which both accounted for $12 million. Table games brought in $2.8 million.
Hollywood Casino York, which opened in August, had revenue of $7.1 million, with about $5 million coming from slots.
Even though it just opened, the Hollywood Casino Morgantown has been collecting revenue for several months from internet sports wagering. Total revenue for November was $307,046.
Among regional casinos:
Parx Casino, Bensalem, Bucks County, had overall revenue of $56.3 million as slots revenue was $31.6 million and table games were at $17.6 million. I-Gaming was at $3.1 million.
Rivers Casino Philadelphia had revenue of $46.6 million. I-Gaming brought in most of the revenue at $24.2 million, while slots were at $10.3 million and table games at $9.6 million.
Valley Forge Casino had much of is revenue from came from its sports wagering, which accounted for $29.1 million of the total. Its I-Gaming platform had revenue of $16.4 million. Slots brought in $8.7 million.
Wind Creek, Bethlehem, had revenue of $42.6 million. It did well with slots, which accounted for $22.6 million, and table games which brought in $19 million.
Live! Casino Philadelphia raked in $18.3 million, with $9.3 million from slots and $6.6 million from table games.
Harrah’s Philadelphia, Chester, had revenue of $16.9 million. The bulk of that figure came from slots, which brought in $10.5 million.
Video Gaming Terminal revenue was $3.3 million, with $2 million going to Penn National-owned Marquee by Penn.
