The Garden Club of Reading and the Exeter Community Library are hosting author, educator and gardener Jenny Rose Carey on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
Carey will be speaking at the library, 4569 Prestwick Drive, about succession planting and how to keep flower garden beds looking great all year. Her latest book, “The Ultimate Flower Gardener’s Guide: How to Combine Shape, Color, and Texture to Create the Garden of Your Dreams,” will be available for purchase.
