Grant Skyllas and Ross Pilliod of LedgeRock Golf Club lead after first round of Pennsylvania Golf Association Four Ball Championship

Grant Skyllas and Ross Pilliod of LedgeRock Golf Club shot a 7-under 65 to lead by one stroke after the first round of the 33rd Pennsylvania Golf Association Four Ball Championship at the Schuylkill Country Club in Orwigsburg.

Skyllas and Pilliod, who had eight birdies and one bogey, have the one-stroke lead at the tournament’s halfway point over Saucon Valley’s Anthony Cordaro and Evan Eichenlaub, and the team of Scott Kalamar of Green Pond CC and Kyle Pritchard of Olde Homestead GC.

The final round will begin Tuesday at Schuylkill CC at 8 a.m.

In a four-way tie for fifth at 68 are Brock Kovach of LedgeRock and Brandon Raihl of Philadelphia Cricket Club, and the LedgeRock team of Tyler Mersinger and Luke Fagley.
