The Greater Reading Chamber Alliance is proud to announce its 10th annual Manufacturing Summit, a can’t-miss event for industry professionals in the Greater Reading region and beyond.

Keynote speaker Lisa Riggs, Senior Managing Director of Economic Growth Strategy & Partnerships at Team PA, will present “Manufacturing: A Priority Industry in Pennsylvania.” Riggs brings over two decades of experience in economic development, including roles as President of EDC Lancaster County and Vice President of Economic Development for the Downtown Partnership of Baltimore.
The half-day event will also include multiple breakout sessions for attendees to choose from, which will be held in the Miller Center and the Schmidt Training and Technology Center. After her keynote address, Riggs will join Julia Kait, Manager of Impact and Innovation at Team PA, to present “Factory of the Future: Focused Discussion on Adopting Automation.”
In another session, Laurel Cline, Division CEO, and Scott Smith, VP and Practice Lead, at Herbein HR Consulting, will discuss “The Power of a Productive Workforce: How to Ensure Your Team is Engaged.”
And finally, “The Positive Outcomes of Appropriately Deploying Robots,” will be put on by Shawn Furman, AMT Strategy Manager at Manufacturers Resource Center.
A panel discussion will be held on the main stage. Presenters and topics will be announced closer to the event.
