The 20th annual Patty Pagoda Groundhog Day observance will take place Sunday morning.
Berks County’s own prognosticator will make her annual prediction about the rest of winter’s weather conditions at 7 a.m. in the Pagoda parking lot. The Pagoda remains closed for renovations.
The event is presented by volunteers of the Foundation for the Reading Pagoda and Pagoda-Skyline Inc., Both are nonprofit preservation organizations with the foundation focusing on the Pagoda and the Skyline group working on the William Penn Memorial Fire Tower.
