Helping Harvest is pleased to announce Aubrey Detterline was elected to the Board of Directors. Aubrey is the Senior Marketing Manager for Brentwood Industries, Inc., a family-owned manufacturing company in Reading, Pennsylvania.

Aubrey was born and raised in Reading and proudly completed her K-12 education in the Reading School District. Aubrey then went on to Lehigh University, where she achieved a bachelor’s degree in English and journalism.

She joined Brentwood in 2012 and has grown from a summer intern to her current role, where Aubrey manages both internal and external marketing and communications. Internally, she works to keep employees informed and engaged and, ultimately, bring people together to achieve common goals. Externally, she oversees a team of marketers who develop strategies and campaigns to promote Brentwood’s products to customers and potential customers.

Aubrey is actively involved in Brentwood’s community efforts as chair of the Brentwood Industries Gives committee and recently elevated her community involvement via the Leadership Berks program. She connected with Helping Harvest through Leadership Berks and was elected to the non-profit’s board of directors in April 2024. “We are excited that Aubrey was inspired to join our Board of Directors after her experience here with Leadership Berks. We look forward to learning from Aubrey’s marketing and communications experience at Brentwood Industries,” said Jay Worrall, President of Helping Harvest.

Outside of work and her community endeavors, Aubrey enjoys spending time with her family, especially when they’re traveling to new destinations or soaking up the sun at the beach.
