IM ABLE secures $10,000 grant from PPL Foundation

The IM ABLE Foundation has received a grant to bolster its adaptive fitness classes and veteran initiatives.

The Wyomissing-based organization, which aims to give people living with physical or behavioral challenges the benefits of being physically active, recently secured a $10,000 grant from the PPL Foundation.

IM ABLE will use the funds to enhance two of its initiatives. The IM FIT initiative offers adaptive group fitness classes that hone strength and endurance through a blend of strength and cardio exercises. And the Operation Lead from the Front initiative provides military veterans with avenues for community service through adaptive sports.

The IM ABLE Foundation was one of 29 other organizations to receive a Powering Equity Grant from the PPL Foundation. These grants are dedicated to supporting organizations committed to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion in their respective communities.
