Join Berks County Parks & Recreation for the 2024 Season of Holiday Lights at Gring’s Mill

from Berks County Parks & Recreation Department

Berks County Parks & Recreation proudly presents the 36th year of an annual favorite — Holiday Lights at Gring’s Mill — starting Wednesday, Dec. 4.

Visitors can stroll the grounds to view a glistening light display that highlights the historic buildings and landscaping at Gring’s Mill. Holiday Lights at Gring’s Mill will be open Wednesdays through Sundays, Dec. 4 to Dec. 29, with the exception of Christmas Day. Opening hours are from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with free parking and admission.

After enjoying the walk-through light display, visitors can enjoy food and beverages from local food trucks, warm up next to the fire pit, and listen to live music from 5:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. in the outdoor pavilion each night. Don’t miss a chance to get an up-close look at our model train display in the former generator station on the bridge.

Santa will make appearances throughout the month in his Christmas Tree Lane located in the barn but will return to the North Pole after Christmas Day.

Other special programming includes the sensory-friendly night on Wednesday, Dec 11, and the Winter Solstice Celebration on Saturday, Dec. 21, featuring our very own King Winter and luminary lighting.

Check our Facebook events @berkscountyparks for up-to-date information on musical acts and food and beverage offerings for each evening’s festivities.

Gring’s Mill Recreation Area is located at 2083 Tulpehocken Road, Wyomissing.
