Reading Public Library (RPL) invites readers of all ages to participate in this year’s Summer@RPL program, starting with a Kickoff Party taking place on Saturday, June 14.

The Kickoff Party will be held on Saturday, June 14, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Main Library’s Children’s Department. Guests can enjoy free food, games, prizes, and balloon art while picking up reading and activity logs and learning more about upcoming Summer@RPL events.
Summer@RPL takes place at all RPL branches from Saturday, June 14, to Saturday, Aug. 9. All branches will host events for all ages, including interactive wildlife programs and musical performances. Participants are grouped into three categories: children, teens, and adults. Children and teens can earn prizes by completing reading and activity challenges, while adults are entered into gift card drawings for each book they read.

Emily McNulty, Assistant Director at RPL, stated, “Summer@RPL offers a variety of fun learning experiences, encourages recreational reading, and introduces kids, teens, adults, and families to the many enriching resources that the library has to offer.”
Whether you’re diving into a new book, exploring a library program, or just stopping by for some summer fun, Summer@RPL is your gateway to an exciting and enriching season.
