The Reading-Berks Association of REALTORS® (R-BAR) is proud to present its sixth annual 5K Run for Shelter on Saturday, Oct. 4, at the scenic Gring’s Mill Recreation Area. This highly anticipated community event raises funds to benefit Habitat for Humanity of Berks County and Neighborhood Housing Services of Greater Berks Inc. (NHS) — two nonprofits committed to building stronger neighborhoods and creating housing opportunities in our region.
Whether you’re a seasoned runner or a casual walker, the flat, fast course along the Union Canal Trail offers something for everyone. This professionally timed, rain-or-shine race, hosted in partnership with Pretzel City Sports, draws participants of all ages and abilities who are eager to support a cause that makes a tangible difference.
