Letter: Abortion amounts to evil, not ‘reproductive care’

Editor:

This is in response to “Abortion access depends on voters” (Reading Eagle, Jan. 13). State Rep. Liz Hanbidge writes, “We must ensure that future generations of women do not continue to have fewer rights than those who came before them.”
Future generations of women have been eliminated by abortion because their mothers exercised their “reproductive right” to abort them. And their mothers, and those who came before them, lived because their mothers exercised their “reproductive right” not to abort them.

Abortion is not “reproductive health care,” it is evil, a heinous crime committed on the most innocent of our society.
Those with their names on pro-abortion legislation will carry that shame for eternity. Like the tragedy of “Macbeth,” the blood of these children will not be washed from their hands. Pray that all who defend abortion will see the truth and stop the evil that they are perpetuating.
