Letter: State needs to address dangerous rural roads

Editor:

Berks County rural roads maintained by the state are deathtraps. Wyomissing Road from Route 625 to Kohl’s Mill in Cumru Township is particularly dangerous. There are no shoulders, and what is there is filled with branches, rocks and debris. The blacktop is breaking away. I called elected officials and got nowhere.
Gov. Tom Wolf brags that he has surplus money. I guess he wants to give it to teachers, walking trails and museums. Anyone who has children riding in a school bus in that area should check this road out.
