The governor claims we have an $8.5 billion surplus in the state coffers. He and his Democratic colleagues would like to spend it and federal stimulus funds on child care, lead remediation and community college.
Meanwhile PennDOT is doing everything it can to extort more money from us to fix bridges through unfair tolls.
We don’t have a $8.5 billion surplus. We have horrible bridges and roads. Don’t toll my bridge; use the tax money we’ve already given you to fix my roads.
Fixing the roads and bridges throughout Pennsylvania without exercising another tax or toll will better serve the citizens of Pennsylvania than community colleges.
