Since the Roe v. Wade decision came down, we’ve heard all the pros and cons of this decision. It’s interesting that I’ve not heard anything on prevention. There are many options available to prevent a pregnancy. There are birth control pills, tubal ligation, vasectomies and condoms. I’m well aware that there are religious aspects against this. Then there are those who think it’s too much trouble.
For married couples or those with various partners, women as well as men, there are birth control methods available. I’m sure we’ll hear many excuses not to use them. If men and women really care about the possibility of becoming pregnant and bringing another child into the world, then they should think about the methods available. Both women and men bear responsibility.
