Letter: Writer correct about big U.S. problem

Cynthia Steele’s Feb. 17 letter (“We need a return to seriousness in politics”) was so well-written and expressed. I wholeheartedly agree, and I think most people would as well. Her letter is worth reading. We should send a copy of it to all of our representatives. Hopefully it will influence some of them.
