Light snowfall arrived in Berks County late Sunday afternoon and is causing some accidents on area roads, particularly in northern Berks and in Exeter Township.
The National Weather Service issued a statement warning that slippery conditions are likely in the area into the night.
Temperatures are expected to fall into the 20s as a half-inch to an inch of snow falls in the area through around midnight. Locations in higher elevations north of Interstate 78 may see larger amounts of snow.
