Literacy Council Opens Registration for ESL, Citizenship, GED Classes

Looking for ESL, Citizenship, or GED Classes? Our registrations are coming up. Register today!

We’re excited to announce that registrations for our ESL and GED programs will be held at the end of August, and our Gateway to Citizenship registrations will take place in September. To attend our registration sessions, you must first sign up online. After registering, you’ll receive an email with details about the registration sessions. Please note that attending a registration session is required to begin classes this fall. Don’t miss out—register online today!

Our free ESL classes provide a well-rounded program for adults 16 years and over that includes career planning, work-related knowledge, and essential life skills.

  • Two days a week.
  • Two and a half hours for each class.

Our free GED® classes will help you study for the high school equivalency certification exam by reviewing language arts, social studies, science, math, and study skills.

  • Two days a week,
  • Two and a half hours for each class.

If you are a lawful permanent resident (green card holder) planning to apply for U.S. Citizenship, our Gateway to Citizenship program is for you!

  • Learn about civics, American history, and the U.S. government.
  • Practice English vocabulary, literacy, and conversation skills needed for citizenship.
  • Learn what to expect on the day of your Citizenship test.
