From Hope Rescue Mission
Hope Rescue Mission excitedly welcomed the Little Caesars Love Kitchen, a traveling pizzeria on wheels, to its campus on Monday, Sept. 15. The Love Kitchen, staffed by local franchise owners and volunteers, served fresh pizza from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. for about 150 guests.
The Love Kitchen serves up free pizza and shares “a whole lotta love” with men, women, and children experiencing homelessness in Berks County. The mobile restaurant has been on the road since 1985, delivering meals and encouragement to communities in need across the United States.
“If I could do this every day, I would,” said area manager for Little Caesars’ Carisa Snyder. “I do this because I was homeless when I was a single mom at 16, so I get it.”
“We are so grateful for Little Caesars’ generosity and the joy they are bringing to our guests,” said Kate Alley, Executive Director of LightHouse. “Moments like this remind our community that they are seen, valued, and loved.”
“Our mission has always been to provide not just shelter and meals, but dignity and hope,” said Rob Turchi, CEO of Hope Rescue Mission. “When partners like Little Caesars step forward with kindness and creativity, it shows our guests that the community cares deeply for them.”
