Reading police are investigating the daytime shooting of a 34-year-old man this week during an altercation in the street, officials said Thursday.
The shooting happened about 1:10 p.m. Monday in the 300 block of North Ninth Street.
The victim retreated into a residence after he was shot and was found there by police and emergency medical personnel.
He was transported to Reading Hospital for treatment. Information on his medical condition was unavailable.
No arrests have been made, and details of the shooting haven’t been released.
