From Pennsylvania State Police
In conjunction with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the Pennsylvania State Police will be strongly enforcing any violation of the Commonwealth’s seat belt and child passenger restraint laws. Vehicle crashes are one of the leading causes of death, with most of those fatalities being attributed to unbelted motorists.
This Click It or Ticket campaign is from Monday, May 12, through Sunday, June 1. PSP Reading (600 Kenhorst Blvd., Reading) will be offering free car seat checks on the following dates and times:
- Wednesday, May 21, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. (additional hours)
No appointment is necessary.
Contact Trooper Ethan Brownback at 610-378-4389 with any questions. For more information on the Pennsylvania State Police, visit psp.pa.gov.
