National Pretzel Day is here: Fun facts and where you can get free pretzels

Pennsylvania is the epicenter for pretzel production.

Consider this fact: About 80% of all the pretzels made in the United States are made in the Keystone state at 45 different state-based pretzel companies.

April 26 is National Pretzel Day so it’s basically a state holiday. On this special holiday we present you with some facts, tips and deals on getting yourself a pretzel.

Americans consume about two pounds of pretzels each year.
