Nick Singleton scores 100th career TD in Gov. Mifflin’s high school football win

Nick Singleton scored three touchdowns in the first quarter Friday night to give him 101 for his career, leading undefeated Gov. Mifflin to a 49-0 Berks Football League Section 1 win over visiting Muhlenberg.

Singleton, a Penn State recruit, scored on runs of 3, 11 and 51 yards in the first quarter. He is the first Berks player to score 100 touchdowns.

Delsin McNeil scored on an 8-yard run, Eden Johnson scored on a 6-yard run and Aiden Gallen raced 47 yards for a touchdown to help the Mustangs (2-0, 7-0) build a 42-0 halftime lead over the Muhls (0-3, 0-8).

Ty Harter returned a punt 40 yards for a Gov. Mifflin touchdown for the only score of the second half.
