The following programs are coming up at the Orwigsburg Area Free Public Library, 216 W. Independence St:
• The summer reading program takes place Tuesdays at 11 a.m. from June 10 to Aug. 5. There will be separate groups for preschool through age 5 and elementary students who have completed kindergarten.
• There will be a special summer reading event featuring a children’s story and a craft on June 11 from 10 a.m. to noon. Participants will have the chance to sew a bookmark.
• A kids’ story and craft focused on the American flag will be held June 12 at 4 p.m. in preparation for Flag Day.
• Trivia Night focused on “The Simpsons” will be held June 25 at 5:30 p.m. All ages welcome.
• Tickets for the July library calendar raffle are $5 for one and $20 for five. Proceeds benefit the library.
• The library is holding its spring cookbook sale. The $5 book features more than 50 recipes. There will be a free token gift and raffle ticket with each purchase.
