Pair of Schuylkill County events will support Make-A-Wish

Moms for Make-A-Wish softball teams are hosting a pair of events to benefit Make-A-Wish Greater Pennsylvania and West Virginia: the 15th annual Brookside Bombshells Easter Egg Hunt and the Peak Integrative Medicine 21st annual Bingo Bash.

The Brookside Bombshells softball team’s Easter egg hunt is set for Saturday, March 23, from 7 p.m. until midnight at Deer Lake Fire House Social Hall, 1 Ash Road.

This festive egg hunt in the dark is for participants 21 and up and costs $25 per person. The event includes entertainment from DJ 1:01, refreshments, door prizes and a 50/50 raffle. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own flashlights.

On Sunday, March 24, the community is invited to continue the fun at the bingo bash at the Good Will Fire Company, 34 S Sillyman St., Cressona.

Doors open at noon, and the games will begin at 1 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $25 or at the door for $30. Prizes include Vera Bradley bags and other hot-ticket items.
